It is really a fact that it is not an easy task being a journalist. To be able to succeed in this field, they have to consider all the important aspects of this career. In this manner, as a journalist they strictly follow the roles and responsibility that are entrusted to them on this field. What they do is that they gather up relevant information and present them to public, such information is includes various areas about life, natural disasters, current events, and the likes. They are usually belonged to an organization. The number of their duties depends on the size of the organization that they are in. Manpower and staff is vast in large organizations, which is why they usually carry out one tasks at a time. But unlike the large one, small organization's manpower and staff is not that many, which is why each of them have to handle more tasks.

There are a lot of different reasons why one choose to become a journalist such as the desire to write, the desire to influenced people for good, the desire to be known, and the desire for knowledge to name a few. The best journalist recognizes their role as the servants of the people. They use their skills in writing to improve the life of other people with the help of the information that they share to the public. They also are the voices of the voiceless and most of them defend the rights of ordinary people. Information is important to increase one's knowledge. In this manner, journalists carefully gather up relevant information so that they can share it to the public.

To become a successful journalist, having a desire is not enough. They should also need to develop certain skills and special qualities. Journalists have the ability to watch their surroundings, find things out, and share their discoveries with the public. They are prepared to learn something new. This means, that they constantly building up their knowledge on many things. Skills are important especially when it come writing but it should be simple and not complicated. This means that it should easily be understood by anyone. They can venture beyond its limits and start to develop their own style once they have mastered the basic news story format.

A journalist should also be responsible on what they write. In this manner, they make sure that they have gotten the information from the reliable and trustworthy source. Trust is hard to earn especially when it comes from the public. To be able to gain the trust of the public they should provide them with factual, relevant, and accurate information. They should also have the ability to know what needs to present and what should be left out. There is some information that is too sensitive to be presented to the public because it might cause chaos or can endanger the lives of those who are involved.

To become a more responsible journalist, training is always available. Every journalist plays a big role on the society which is why they should become a good example especially to their fellow media professionals. They should help the public become more vigilant on what goes on around them.
