Historical Non Fiction Books To Be Found

By Carmella Watts

There are so many historical non fiction books to be located everywhere. People who want to know more about the history of their country would be very interested in finding many of these titles. Any local bookstore will be more than happy to show someone all of the selections.

Americans all around are very familiar with Harriet Tubman and all of her daring adventures. Black and white people consider this woman to be an icon for all of the teenagers in this world. Anyone who has an appreciation for good writing will check out the title "Moses".

She is compared to Moses simply because of her efforts to lead black people to freedom. Moses did the very same thing when he tried to free the Hebrews from their Pharaoh. During her time Ms. Tubman also created the underground railroad which helped to lead many blacks to their destiny.

"The Real Elizabeth" deals with the current Queen of England. This title tells about her life and all of the complications that she has endured. It takes a very poignant look at her family and how she is always able to keep things together even in the most dire times.

Individuals who reside in England love their Queen and all of her family members. They take the time to celebrate her birthday and any other events that are important to her. This novel takes a close look at all of those events and her very beautiful family members. Someone can learn more about Charles, Andrew, Sarah and Diana from just reading these writings. There are plenty of photographs included throughout the pages which anyone can truly appreciate. "Princess Diana" is another manuscript which gives a personal glimpse into the lives of this Royal Family.

George Washington had an amazing time when he was elected as the first President of the United States. This is one man who was very smooth when it came to politics and everyone seemed to be on his side. "His Excellency" tells his story in quite a few chapters that will bring a smile to anyone's face. He is considered to be the "father" of America and this title is well deserved. During his time in office he was also a man who used his power to get anything or anybody that he wanted. Like many other famous men he was known to have quite a few mistresses.

"The Diary of Anne Frank" is a very sad story about a little Jewish girl who had to hide from the Nazis during Hitler's reign of terror. Many Jewish people were placed into concentration camps when Hitler was in power. Before Anne was eventually captured and taken to one of these places she wrote down everything that happened in her diary.

It is always a great idea to have historical non fiction books available at every educational institute. It is less likely that humans will repeat their negative past if they learn from their mistakes. This shows that even famous people have flaws and they somehow manage to go on with their life no matter how many bad things happen.
