Childrens Books About Movie Stars Are Awesome

People in the American society are obsessed with famous individuals who appear on the covers of magazines everywhere. There are even childrens books about movie stars which can be found at any local book store. The young people can learn all about Meryl Streep, Eddie Murphy, Harrison Ford, Goldie Hawn, Sigourney Weaver, Sylvester Stallone, Demi Moore and Rob Lowe while reading "Acting for America : Movie Stars of The 1980s."

One great thespian named Meryl Streep is always happy to receive attention from her loyal fans. This is a woman who can play any character that is written upon paper. She showed off her singing ability in a film called "Mama Mia" which earned millions of dollars. Before this particular film Ms. Streep played the lead character in "Sophie's Choice" and a host of other great productions. English people loved her performance as Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady."

Eddie Murphy is a comedian who first started his career in the 1980's when he appeared on "Saturday Night Live." This particular show featured a variety of comedians who were brand new to the entertainment world. Mr. Murphy became a breakout star and he really influenced other young black males who wanted to enter into show business.

One good looking older stud who has a great film career is Harrison Ford. This is one man who can actually act and he even looks like a real man. There are so many other young actors who cannot hold a film on their own or match Mr. Ford's acting abilities. Anyone who has seen "Raiders of The Lost Ark" has truly fallen in love with this man.

Harrison recently celebrated another birthday and he is always happy to tell everyone his age. There are so many individuals in their 70's who do not have the good looks or charm which he still possesses. This is one man who accidentally ended up in entertainment since he started off as a carpenter.

Demi Moore was a teen sensation when she first got her start on a television show called "General Hospital." She was nineteen years old at the time but was playing the older sister of Janine Turner. After leaving this show Demi started working in films and everyone loved her performances. "Ghost" was one movie that really launched her career as a true film star. She continued to star in other successful roles which brought her critical acclaim.

Sigourney Weaver has been around for quite a long time but her fans still call her Ripley since "Alien" was such a big hit. She created one of the most legendary characters known to mankind. Ellen Ripley was such a strong and wise character that everyone could relate to. Women and men love Sigourney since she never fails to star within a horrible film.

People everywhere are always doing a "Rocky" imitation since this is a classic character created by Sylvester Stallone. Mr. Stallone hit gold when he created Rocky and his sensational group of friends. For years Sylvester tried to make films that would attract the attention of young men and women everywhere and he has succeeded at this venture. His "Expendables" features have also included famous actors like Harrison Ford.
