Below are the best science fiction books that have made this art a long lasting trait of this race and have been outstanding all along in the market.

Top on the list is Ringworld, a Larry Niven works. In this book, luck is a genetic trait that is controllable. This storyline begins on earth and ends up in the world of the puppeteers. These creatures are indestructible by matter and humans have to devise other ways to beat them. The book looks into the aspect of war between planets and the chances the human race has to survive.

The Demolished Man should be in your shopping cart when heading to the bookstore. The story takes place in future and just as the words suggests the mind is destroyed to say the least. The ruling governments and law is not what it is. How can you commit crime when the next person knows for a fact what why you did. These were the peepers who could read the mind.

Gateway by Frederik Pohl was done in 2010. It analyses the extent to which humans in the future will be willing to go to make ends meet. The fact that life is a gift, only makes sense if you have the gift itself. In other terms, being rich is actually living. So, humans stumble upon interstellar ships left behind by Heechee. They hop on not knowing where these ships will take them. Though these ships are programmed on where to take them, many still go. Few come back rich while others perish.

Done by John Brunner, Stand on Zanzibar, houses two characters. House and Hogan. Hogan is in the forefront of a conglomerate that is poised to take over a country in Africa. The company he leads is called general technics and also deals with genetic engineering products. Hogan on other hand is his spy and takes a geek personality to conceal his true intention. In the end he dies but after successfully getting the solution to genetic engineering.

Timescape by Gregory Benford involves the technological aspect of teleporting. The two sets of scientist; 1962 and 1998 have the huge role of safeguarding the future from huge environment catastrophe. The 1998 group being aware of the future, tell the 1962 group on how they can prevent this. The level of drama in the book will leave you at the edge of your seats.

The Stars is my Destination, done by Alfred Beester is a classic worth reading. The original piece went under the name Tiger! Tiger! Till 2011 where it went under a restructuring and republished. The main character has the ability to teleport virtually to any part in world and easily escape danger. This on the contrary affects the ones he had to run from. It is a masterpiece worth reading.

Snowcrash by Neal Stephenson will shock you in how the US will end up being in fictional world as portrayed in this book. Who could ever have imagined the Pizza delivery guy could make things turn around for the worst more so affect the whole nation. He comes up with a virus that shapes the US as a cybercrime infested nation.
