We enjoy watching a drama so much, without us thinking that there are some who are working behind our sights. They are unseen from us, but we ought to think that the only reason why the play is beautiful is only because of those people or actors we see acting on that stage. We only give our applause to the people we see acting, because we always use our sight and not our common sense, not thinking that the people who works behind is responsible for it.
As some who is assigned and the one who made the job, there are two things which are needed for him to do. The first one is to know what the future would hold for their job. The other one is for them to get the initiative to lead and be a good leader.
Since he serves as the leader and the one who decides whether to get that play done or not, he must make sure that he gets everyone know what would the future be for the thing they are doing. He must give them the proper vision in order for them to think of it, they would what would be done so that they can get the vision and whatever the director would think the future would be.
He simply is not just a leader who foresees the future but also the person who will lead everyone to the success that they want to achieve. This is very impossible to get when everyone is not working accordingly. I know that without a leader it would really be impossible to get everyone work the things they need to do. They need someone who can tell them what they need to do.
Another thing he needs to do is to interpret the script so that everyone, including the actors, would know what could be the possible thing they can do for the play. Sometimes it would really be hard for them when they would not know what could be the things they must do, and being knowledgeable is very important especially in the crucial part of it.
Next step is with the design and the props that are very much needed in the stage. The reason for this is to make the stage be set up and be very beautiful in the eyes of the people who are watching the drama.
Being a very good and responsible director will not stop on just being the one supervising and doing the talks and ranting, he should be the best listener to any complains and suggestion. Well, for me suggestions may be the things that could create awareness to what could make the possibility of the success.
For me, one of the hardest things that a person could do is being a leader. Because when you play this role, especially in an organization you have to do whatever it takes to get the success that is your goal. And if ever it gets failed, then you are the one who will be blamed. When it comes to being a play director you must do everything whatever it takes you so that success would be achieved.
