Concepts like emptying of one s mind, attaining inner peace, fostering of self conscience and calmness are all an integral part of the practice.

Females are getting involved just as males have been, to show that they too are can be empowered and be people of strength. The effect of training in this style is greater in the mind than in the body, higher levels of self-confidence and self-esteem become apparent in the practitioner. At first, most join only to personally learn self-defense and then it becomes a lifestyle and a phylosophy that can change the way to face adversity in life.
